Tai Chi
Originally a 13th-century Chinese martial art, Tai Chi is today practised worldwide as a health-promoting exercise. It combines deep breathing and relaxation with slow and gentle movements. While people of all ages can benefit from it, it is particularly recommended for individuals aged 65 and over to reduce stress, improve balance and overall mobility, and increase leg muscle strength.
Our group meets in the Lower Hall of the Old Halls on Mondays at 1:30 p.m. for an hour, including the summer. A small weekly charge is requested. Don't hesitate to contact Ronnie Niven or use the 'Contact Us' button on the website for more information.
